Design Story

The focal panel is built around a crossed-arm cat in a Santa hat, eyes half-lowered, striped scarf falling in soft diagonals against a deep crimson field. Everything is rendered as tight mosaic beadwork, so the surface reads as texture before it reads as illustration. White snowflakes scatter across the wrap as negative-space relief, keeping the saturated red from flattening. Below the figure, a plated lasagna and candy canes anchor the lower third, and the banner typography — GRUMPY CHRISTMAS in gold on scrolled ribbon — closes the hierarchy with a clean horizontal stop. Green holly and a tree motif at the base complete the vertical rhythm.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette the artwork behaves like a wraparound textile print: the character holds the front-facing focal area at eye level, the snowflake field carries the sides, and the banner lettering sits where the body tapers, so the graphic scale stays legible from across a room.
